When the opportunity arises to help out with a mission project, Doreen and Arnie look at ways they can help. Shane also joins in the discussion and discovers some things he can do too.

Shane shares with Arnie how he wants to be a good steward and use well what God has given to him. Shane also learns what it means to tithe. Listen to the song, “Jesus This Is For You.”

Shane and Gina look at 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 and learn that God wants us to give because we want to, not because we have to. Our response to him because we love him. God wants it to be our choice. Listen to the song “Here’s My Money Jesus.”

Arnie and Shane are discussing what stewardship means. Stewardship is actually how we look after, or care for more than just our things. What is really important to remember is that what you have is a gift from God. God wants us to use all we have to help others to come to know Him. A good steward looks after or manages what they have well.

Arnie shares a song about the power of our words. What we say, words spoken with love can build a bridge and restore relationships. He suggests we use our self-control to bridge gaps with those around us, not build walls.

Mr Jeremy Jones looks into the Bible at the story of Jesus Temptation from Luke Chapter 4, and how Jesus was able to demonstrate self-control. We also use what we have read in the Bible and ask God to fill us with His Holy Spirit to help us to fight Satan and his temptations.

Mr Jackson shares some challenges he had as a boy with self-control, and how one of his teachers helped him by telling him the story of Jacob and Esau.

Mr O’Malley talks about self-control, telling the story of Nehemiah and his team of men who had challenges re-building the wall of the city of Jerusalem.

Unkie Borg looks at some Bible verses and shares some ideas on how we can have self control.

Arnie shares the song “More Like You” which is about wanting to be more like Jesus.

Ranger Hardy gives us some tips on how we can show gentleness around animals.

Tom and Shane look at how Jesus the Shepherd is a good example for us of gentleness.

Gina is trying to work out what it means to be gentle. She asks Shane for some advice.
